Conversation Etiquette

This is a light read but has some good general tidbits in it on being good at conversations.

The post contains several lists so I’ll just include highlights:

The “Dos” of conversations:

- Listen more than you talk

- Tailor the conversation to the listener

The Don’ts of conversation:

- Don’t interrupt (including by saying “That reminds me…”)

- Don’t engage in one-upping

Things not to say:

“Actually, you should say ‘between you and me,” not ‘between you and I.’”  A conversation isn’t the time to correct grammar mistakes.
